We cater to riders of all levels who want to bond with their horses and form a partnership, regardless of discipline. We offer a COMPLETE horsemanship program, which includes learning fundamentals of caring for a horse as well as riding it. We use biomechanics to help riders learn how to use their body to communicate with the horse in a way he understands. A primary focus is on the correct seat and balance of the rider. We offer dressage training, saddle breaking thru Intermediaire as well as "balanced" seat and lunge line lessons. We also follow the classical dressage training scale for training of the horses. We help our students achieve their riding goals, including winning many awards, both as class and show champions, and as year-end winners in dressage and eventing.
- BRF's trainer Barbra Reis has over 25 years of experience taking riders from absolute beginners to confident competitors. She holds a B.S. in Equine Studies from Centenary College in New Jersey, a British Horse Society Assistant Instructor's certificate from Porlock Vale Equestrian Centre in England and is a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist who has shown thru Prix St. George.
- Short-term visits for those who wish to gain a more comprehensive experience other than trailering in for a single lesson. Short-term training stays range from a couple days to a few months!
- Whether you need preparation for a show, support through a difficult training dilemma, or simply focused support through particular stage of training, a short- term stay can provide invaluable education and inspiration. Many of our clients come to be inspired by the teaching, the facilities and the warm and friendly atmosphere at Brilliant Reflection Farm. We enjoy the camaraderie we share with our students and look forward to welcoming you to the farm.

Lesson Cancellation Policy
In the event of extreme or dangerous weather, poor road conditions or other extenuating circumstances lessons and training rides may be rescheduled OR canceled (generally temperatures below 20* or above 90*, tornado warnings, power outage causing it to be too dark to ride safely, etc). We offer periodic make-up events as necessary to ensure all customers get the full value of their sessions. In the case of an instructor missing a lesson or training ride due to illness, pre-scheduled vacation, etc, services are either rescheduled in advance or they are cancelled and credited off the following months invoice. If the student must reschedule, we require a minimum of 24 hours notice in order to be eligible for a make-up lesson. While all efforts to be flexible will be made, instructors are booked tightly and make-ups will be granted as the schedule allows. Students should do their best to make their weekly scheduled appointments. Excessive rescheduling, late cancellations, no shows, late payments, etc. may result in the student being dropped from the program or loosing their spot on the schedule. Students who arrive more than 15 minutes late or do not show up for lessons without notice will not receive credit or a make-up.
